The Story
Climb a mountain, tell no one
I spent five years in the Marine Corps as a Scout Sniper. One thing my seniors drilled into me: "Climb a mountain and tell no one."
Do the work. Stay humble. Let results speak.
That philosophy served me well — until I realized its limit. At some point, you've built up an inventory of skills and experience, and it's time to show what you bring to the table. Not boastfully. Just as a statement of capability.
I left the Marines, learned to code, and spent years building systems — from government platforms to delivery logistics at a YC-backed startup. I led integrations at Curri (YC W21), connecting Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash to expand delivery networks dynamically. I've been called a "product-minded engineer" — I care about how users feel when using what I build.
I know what it's like to be building in silence and working really hard on something. I like to help people grow and be visible by establishing a website that shows them off.
Tacemus
Tacemus means "we the silent." I build websites for silent builders — people who've been climbing mountains behind the scenes and need a public-facing space.
I'm a ghostbuilder. I make the invisible visible.
Process
How I work
Heavy upfront research
I research your industry, your competitors, what's working and what's missing. I use AI to help me move fast without cutting corners.
Fast iteration
First draft in 48-72 hours. Anything that doesn't sound like you is up for change. I will match your vibe.
Craft your credibility
Your website is your brand. It's a credibility thing. It should drive users to connect with you and set you up to have customers come to you. I help your website serve its purpose.
You own everything
Built in your accounts. Your domain, your email, your data. I set it up — you keep it.
Boundaries
What I don't do
- — E-commerce (for now)
- — WordPress
- — Cookie-cutter templates where you can tell it's a template
- — Websites without strategy
